Laura Kralicky

Laura Kralicky is a Program Associate at PERIL. Her focus area is on prevention through education, and she is the Co-Creator of DUCC (Developing & Using Critical Comprehension), a program awarded 1st place in the Invent2Prevent Spring 2022 national collegiate competition and a recipient of a Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention grant through the US Department of Homeland Security. She is passionate about education and social-emotional based strategies to prevent extremism and foster positive youth development in both domestic and international sectors. She is currently leading the development of the DUCC curriculum at PERIL, which combines SEL and digital literacy to prevent youth online radicalization and targeted violence. Laura graduated with a BA in international studies from American University in May 2022 with a thematic focus on global inequity & development and a minor in education.
